AutoCAD & Planning Assistant (4-Month Contract)

BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), owner and operator of BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre, is currently searching for a AutoCAD & Planning Assistant to join our team. This critical role will report directly to the Director, Infrastructure & Capital Projects. As part of the Infrastructure & Capital Projects team, the AutoCAD & Planning Assistant will work with the projects team to maintain organization around digital and hard-copy project documents, as the organization achieves its vision to be the global leader in outstanding venues and events.

  • Update Digital drawings digitally and manually.
  • Identify and separate current from historical documents and create archives.
  • Draft and implement standard operating procedure for drawing management.
  • Create and maintain sample and literature library.
  • Review and revise as built drawings.
  • Develop base building materials inventory.
  • Support the project planning team with administrative and clerical requirements.
  • Additional organizational assistance as required.



  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Architectural, Interior Design, or AutoCAD Program, having completed at least one year of study
  • A sound working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, furniture systems, other related rendering software, MS Project, Excel, Word, internet communications and research.
  • Able to clearly express ideas, thoughts and concepts verbally and in writing
  • Able to quickly and accurately establish priorities and carry out multiple tasks or projects at the same time.
