Quality Assurance and Count Centre Floor Supervisor

TPD's client, located in New Westminster, is currently looking to add a Quality Assurance and Count Centre Floor Supervisor to their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a fantastic organization with little to no turn over!

Reporting to the QA Facility Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for allocating sample material workflow for the day.
• Validate that plant material are being managed on a First In, First Out (FIFO) basis.
• Follow up with its staff to validate that various Quality Assurance Audit and Count Center processes are being carried as per agreed standards;
• Check and validate that data is being correctly inputted for QA’s and Count Centre operations;
• Ensure that used beverage container materials are being accurately handled through the high speed bar code counting machines.
• Ensure that QA and Count Centre productivity and throughput levels are properly maintained as per agreed standards;
• Assist with the maintenance of the new Product UPC information updating the Brand Registry database;
• Support the safety, security and integrity of the QA Warehouse’s operations;
• Review staff’s performance with the QA Operations Supervisor;
• Support of the Facility QA Operations Supervisor and Manager to liaise with depot operators drivers and processors, as required;

​Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:

• Operations, Logistics or Technical background;
• At least 1-2 years’ previous supervisory/management experience;
• Displays a strong commitment to leadership and people management including negotiation, conflict resolution, labour planning/organization;
• Hands on operator but in the same time comfortable rolling up the sleeves and getting involved where help is needed;
• Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
• Forklift License and/or walker experience would be an asset.
